I need to talk about this dinner 🥹🤍🇹🇭

Got an early taste of “Bun Khao • The Merit of Rice”, Chef Tobb’s new 10-course Thai tasting menu at @Payakkstory ahead of its debut on Friday!

The theme’s about immigration told through food — memory, ritual, identity, all of it. As someone who moved from the Philippines, this hit different. Food really carry pieces of home with you wherever you go.

You can feel how much she poured into this. It felt intentional, from honoring real Thai traditions to sourcing sustainably from Bay Area vendors she has genuine relationships with.

Sustainability + culture + storytelling on one plate?? Not just a dinner, an experience.

Book a table when it opens on August 14! Come hungry cos the portions are generous. 👀

Tang Jip “soup house” in Hayward! 🙌 Such a great spot for Korean comfort food. Our fam celebrated father’s day here last month and we all ordered the combo!

New spot in downtown Hayward! Storybook Bar + Kitchen opened a few months ago and the concept feels fresh the moment we stepped in.

Love the colorful palette, the interior, the velvet chairs, and especially the “where the wild things are” art pieces! I’m an artist so I do notice these things. 🤭

Mark discovered this place. Honestly, he should be the official third tummy!

They’ve a selection of drinks (cocktails, beer, and wine). Definitely one of those cozy “let’s catch up” spots.

And what dyou mean they have an ARCADE and patio at the back!? 🤩 I’ll definitely bring my whole family next time!
