F1 as a single parent with two boys. How to survive.

Taking a pre-teen and a teenager to @f1 on your own is… an adventure. Some things work, some things are too ambitious, and some things are simply impossible.

After surviving our first @ausgp at Albert Park together, here are my top 3 survival tips for parents:

1️⃣ Pack snacks.
Food at big events is expensive and sometimes… questionable. We had the saltiest chicken schnitzel and chips of our lives. I’m still not sure if the chef was in love or accidentally dumped the entire salt bucket on it.
Rice crackers, fruit, biscuits, biltong and refillable water bottles saved us. Hungry kids at a full-day event are not a situation you want to be negotiating.

2️⃣ Be prepared to not see everything.
There is so much happening at the Grand Prix. Sponsor booths like @kitkatanz, games, merch stands, fan zones… you simply can’t do it all with kids.
We missed the parade entirely because we lined up at the Lego Pit Stop instead. Zero regrets. Alas Harlan’s @ferrariraces @lewishamilton @charles_leclerc and @oscarpiastri remain unsigned.

3️⃣ Do the track walk after the race. Absolute must.
Walking onto the track where the race just happened, looking for rubber marbles from the tyres — that ended up being the highlight for the boys.
And there’s a small trick to doing it right.

The craziest place we have ever visited. Step into super Mario world @universal_studios_japan defenitely worth to get fast passes for their rides. Compared to the rest of USJ this place was jam packed.
