Sometimes I just stare at the ceiling,
wondering who I am,
What are my likes and dislikes?
Why do I have phases?
Why can't I stick to a particular side?
Is being flexible wrong?
Gently the guilt of who I am today seeps through my skin
For I know, this present is not constant too.
While my mind ponders around a dozen thoughts,
My jar is filled with mixed emotions
and all I could see is a
hazy vision through a bubble of water
filled with unspoken regret.
I wonder why our visions stick to black and white
Probably that is how we have been taught.
Why should I belong here or there
It is not a choice to choose
Who made those segments?
Why was the thin line between them overlooked
Why can't I be different,
belonging in different colors of the spectrum
Instead of forcing myself to stick to the extremes...

Shit happens and we go through it. In the end we have two options - to keep holding on to the past or to learn and move on with life.
Choice is yours. Choose wisely.
