We couldn't find a single seafood restaurant open in Tirana. So we wandered into the New Bazaar, walked into the first place that looked clean, and sat down half expecting to regret it. We got so lucky. Seafood risotto. A whole fried sea bass. Drinks. Fresh, done right, no notes. And the bill? Back home this is a $90 dinner easy. Here it's a fraction of that. But here's the thing — the price isn't even why we moved. We moved because American food is quietly poisoned.
