Join me in celebrating JIGEN, the dog who has been my compass and inspiration for the last 12 years, who led the way. Just 3 days shy of 13 years old when he was called to secure the road ahead. He was the light in my shadow. Always by my side. Rest peacefully. 8/31/13 - 8/28/26

It’s a true honor to be selected to provide equipment to commemorate the Advancement of the United States Coast Guard’s, K9 PUMA to the rank of Chief. As an added bonus, Chief PUMA and the collar and patch are featured on the cover of the current issue of “The Chief” magazine as well as inside with his handler @miiamaauro__ . Additionally, Chief LEA also received a patch and collar and was a part of the ceremony. A sincere “thank you” goes out to Chief LEA’s handler @t_blandford for working with me to provide equipment for such a special occasion in the career of such incredible K9’s. taken in USA by @twodogs_k9

I want to thank the Airmen of the Air Force’s 30th Security Forces Squadron for their generous hospitality and access to a tour of their facility out at Vandenberg SFB as well as the unique opportunity to observe a qualification from the trainer’s evaluation perspective. There was a lot of really good observation and information sharing that will no doubt lead to some innovative things to come down the road. This opportunity was truly an honor and one that won’t be forgotten.

Additionally, and the impetus to my visit, the 30th hosted a benefit event to directly support retired MWDs, that I also had the pleasure to support and participate in. The event was a success and will help fund the aftercare of a number of our retired canine heroes. K9 Leads The Way!!⚡️ taken in Vandenberg Space Force Base by @twodogs_k9

My time at NAPCH 2026 is in the books! Thanks so much for @napch_k9 for having me out. It was a great one, and I finally got some representation in the River Club, alongside some friends @frog_dog_k9 and @mikeyrich42. The Top Gun flight school was there before I arrived! I just missed them, but I did see one of their F-18s that was getting some maintenance done. taken in Alpena National Guard CRTC by @twodogs_k9

Meet MWD EDI and his handler @blake.parten_ putting in the work out at Fort Bliss. We had the pleasure to meet at the ARMY’s MWD Symposium a couple of years ago where Blake grabbed some gear. We’re thankful they kept in touch and have a few items that have become essential in their kit! If you look close at the pics you may spot them. Keep up the good work! K9 LEADS THE WAY!⚡️

On this 9/11, we honor the memory of those we lost and the steadfast defense of our nation that followed. In the wake of that day, the Coast Guard established specialized Maritime Safety and Security Teams (MSST) to protect our ports, incorporating elite canine explosive detection teams to secure our waterways.

K9 Lea of MSST Kings Bay is a prime example of this post-9/11 mission in action. From conducting security sweeps on vessels like the Natchez to training for high-risk hoists, Lea is works hard to remain vigilant and answer any call.

Today on 9/11, let's honor Lea's service by casting a vote for her in the American Humane Hero Dog Awards! She is competing in the Military category, and voting is open today.

👉 Cast your vote for K9 Lea here: https://www.americanhumane.org/hero-dog/k9-lea/

OR find it in my bio!!

Evasive Maneuvers: Temporary Closure In-Coming.

Temporary shop closure will be effective at 11:59 PM Thursday August 27th with a plan to reopen October 31st (subject to change.) Those with orders on deck are still in play, as well as my commitments to appear at NAPCH and ATK9 will not change. Feel free to reach out anytime. As always, I will still be reachable through the website contact (email), text/phone or social media messaging.

As many know, I’ve been trying to switch my system to inventory based while keeping on top of incoming orders and commitments. The switch has not been feasible given current conditions. A record number/size of orders have all come in at the same time. Currently, I am a staff of one, building and shipping all orders and performing all correspondence as well as any functions a manufacturing business requires. To facilitate covering off on orders/commitments and switching to an inventory system, I will be temporarily closing the shop down to get things built out for current order as well as to stock up on core gear for inventory. This re-organization will allow me to better serve you in a timely manner as things move forward.

Custom-shop and Agency orders will still be available through quote request as per usual.

Thank you for all your support and understanding. From starting out making a collar for my dog, to eventually making a collar for your dog, I couldn’t have done it without the incredible support from you and the greater K9/MWD community.

FORGE AHEAD. — Brian taken in USA by @twodogs_k9

Who else is ready for the weekend?!? I know we sure are! What fun will you be getting into? One thing I know our weekend will include is Nuke’s @twodogs_k9 firehose tugs! Whether on the job, during training, or in off duty fun, they are always one of our go to’s!

It’s always such an honor to supply handlers from around the world. This is EDD ROXY with the K9 Team in the Netherlands on Airbase Leeuwarden, sniffing out explosives. His handler Milenko @thegreatmilenko91 has set out to train ROXY from a green pup. I’m excited to see how he develops and am thankful to be a very small part of the team!⚡️

Shoutout to @jms_bwhntr and K9 Sammy for running with me on some gear. It’s always humbling to be chosen by the people out there doing the real work. Thanks a ton to Josh and the other handlers out there for their hard work and their trust in the equipment!
