POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Hi there! Since you’ve already been seeing our faces pop up on your feed, we figured it’s probably time to properly introduce ourselves. 👋

We’re Sandra and Matt — a couple equally obsessed with nature, culture, good food, and saying “wow” way too often in beautiful places. We met back in 2008 and have been together ever since, getting married in 2014.

Over the last 3 years, we’ve made some big life changes (the “are we really doing this?” kind). We started our own businesses, juggle full-time work with content creation (and a few other projects that make us question our sanity 🤪), moved from Florida to Utah, and built a life with more flexibility — aka working and traveling on our terms, not a calendar that hates fun.

This post shares a little about our story and the shifts we’ve made to create a life that feels aligned, adventurous, and occasionally chaotic. Our goal here is simple: share our experiences, inspire you to chase what excites you, and hopefully help you along the way with some solid travel tips.

Thanks for being here — we’re excited to share the highlights, the learning curves, and the occasional “how did we end up here?” moments. If you enjoy real-life adventures, thoughtful travel, and a little humor along the way, we’d love to have you join us.

Questions about our story, what we do, or how we do it? Ask away — we’re an open book. ✈️🌍 taken in Utah, USA by @twoendlesstickets

🔥 Hike the real Dragonstone! 🐉✨
Just off the coast of Spain lies San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, a jaw-dropping islet that looks straight out of a fantasy world — because it is! 🎬 This stunning spot was used as the filming location for Dragonstone in Game of Thrones, where Daenerys first set foot on her return to Westeros.

Climb the 241 winding steps to the top, ring the bell at the hermitage for good luck, and soak in the epic views of the Bay of Biscay 🌊 — it’s pure magic. And the best part? It’s just a short 35 minute trip from Bilbao, making it an easy must-see on your northern Spain adventure.

This is your sign to hike in England. 🥾🇬🇧

And you can start this one right from the middle of Ambleside.

📍 Wansfell Pike
🥾 Roughly 4–5 miles / 6.5–8 km round trip from Ambleside, depending on your route
⬆️ Around 1,500 ft / 450 m of climbing
⏱️ Allow roughly 3 hours

The route climbs out of Ambleside, passes Stock Ghyll Force and keeps heading upward until suddenly you’re looking across Windermere and the surrounding Lake District fells.

It’s a steady uphill climb, but you don’t need a car, a complicated trailhead or an entire day to do it.
Stay in Ambleside—or take public transportation into town—and start walking.

That was one of our favorite things about spending two weeks here: some incredible hikes literally begin in town.

There’s only ONE place in the world you can buy this gingerbread. 🤯

📍 The Grasmere Gingerbread Shop @grasmeregingerbread
📍 Grasmere, Lake District, England

Grasmere Gingerbread was created by Sarah Nelson in 1854, and the original secret recipe is still used today.

But don’t expect normal gingerbread.

It’s somewhere between a biscuit and a cake: chewy in the middle, crumbly on top and packed with ginger. And it’s still made in Grasmere.

The shop itself makes the experience even better. It’s tucked into a tiny building that was once the village school, right next to St. Oswald’s Church.

You’ll find it in the center of Grasmere, which is easy to reach by bus from Ambleside or Keswick—so you definitely don’t need a car to try it.

And yes, we think you should try it at least once. 😋

Planning a fall trip to Paris? 🍂🇫🇷 Save these 6 Eiffel Tower photo spots!

We took these photos around October 31 last year, and Paris was showing off with its beautiful fall colors and moody skies.
Here are 6 spots to add to your itinerary:

📍 Pont d’Iéna
📍 Avenue de Camoëns
📍 Jardins du Trocadéro
📍 Trocadéro Steps
📍 Rue de l’Université
📍 Pont Alexandre III

Each gives you a completely different perspective of the Eiffel Tower, and the autumn colors made some of these views even more beautiful.
Of course, fall colors change from year to year, but if you’re visiting Paris in late October or early November, these are worth keeping on your list.

If you want maximum Lake District views without an all-day hike, put this one on your England hiking list. 🥾

📍 Raven Crag, overlooking Thirlmere
🥾 Roughly 1.3 miles / 2.1 km round trip
⬆️ Around 875 ft / 275 m of climbing
⏱️ About 1 - 2 hours

Don’t let the short distance fool you—the climb is steep. But it doesn’t take long before you reach the viewpoint overlooking Thirlmere and the surrounding fells.

This one was actually recommended to us by a local, and it turned out to be one of our favorite high-reward hikes in the Lake District.

Short. Steep. REALLY good view.

📌Save Raven Crag when you want a Lake District hike that doesn’t take up your entire day. 🇬🇧 taken in Lake District, England by @twoendlesstickets

Some experiences are a little harder to put into words. ❤️

Busan was home for Sandra for a few years as a child while her dad was stationed at Camp Hialeah.

Coming back with Matt and Sandra’s mom was emotional. ❤️

Planning a trip to England’s Lake District? Save these 11 places. 🇬🇧👇

We spent two weeks based in Ambleside hiking, exploring villages and finding some of our favorite spots around the Lake District.

Here are 11 we’d put on your list:

📍 Ambleside — one of our favorite bases for exploring the area
🥾 Catbells — iconic hike overlooking Derwentwater
⛰️ Raven Crag — short climb with a huge payoff
💦 Rydal Grot — a hidden waterfall viewing house
🥾 Wansfell Pike — hike straight from Ambleside
🏡 Grasmere — picturesque village + the famous Grasmere Gingerbread
⛰️ Loughrigg Fell — another fantastic hike accessible from Ambleside
🪨 Rydal Cave — huge man-made cavern you can walk right into
🦙 Keswick — great northern Lake District base + our alpaca walk at nearby Lingholm Estate
🏡 Rydal Hall — beautiful grounds and garden. Pair it with Rydal Grot as they are on the same property
🏘️ Cartmel — gorgeous village famous for its sticky toffee pudding and fine dining
🌄 And just make time to explore the roads, trails and villages in between.

The Lake District deserves more than a quick day trip. We stayed for two weeks and still left with places we wanted to see. We will definitely be going back!!

No car? You can still hike to views like this in the Lake District. 🥾🇬🇧

We hiked Loughrigg Fell Circular directly from Ambleside, making this an incredibly easy hike to add to a Lake District trip without worrying about parking or having a car.

📍 Start: Ambleside
⛰️ Summit: Loughrigg Fell
🥾 Route length: roughly 5–8 miles depending on your route
⬆️ Around 1,300–1,500 ft / 400–450 m of total climbing
⏱️ Give yourself around 3–5 hours, again depending on your route

There are several trails across Loughrigg, so you can make this a straightforward out-and-back or turn it into a longer loop, which we did.

And because Ambleside is well connected by bus, you can get here, hike from town and never touch a car.

📌Save this one if you’re planning a car-free Lake District trip. 🥾 taken in Ambleside, Lake District by @twoendlesstickets

Chasing the perfect view isn’t exactly a modern obsession. 😂

Built in 1668, Rydal Grot is believed to be Britain’s earliest purpose-built viewing station — designed specifically to frame this waterfall like a picture. This might be the world’s first instagram photo spot!

And it also feels like a little hidden gem when you find it!

📍 Rydal Grot, Rydal Hall, Lake District, England

You can reach it on foot through the grounds of Rydal Hall, and it’s an easy stop to combine with Rydal Cave, nearby walking trails or a longer walk between Ambleside and Grasmere.

No big hike required for this one—just a very cool little piece of Lake District history tucked beside a waterfall.

We spent two weeks in Ambleside located in the Lake District of England and did 7 very different hikes—and the best one really depends on what kind of day you want. 🥾🇬🇧

Save this for your Lake District trip 👇

💦 Stock Ghyll Waterfall — 1.1 mi | 252 ft gain
Short on time? Start here. It leaves right from Ambleside, and we even followed a sign off the trail that promised wine. Obviously, we investigated. 🍷

⛰️ Raven Crag — 1.3 mi | 875 ft gain
Short does NOT mean easy. This one packs a lot of elevation into 1.3 miles, but the view at the top makes it worth it. Another great recommendation from a local.

🪨 Rydal Water + Cave — 3.2 mi | 341 ft gain
One of the easier hikes we did and completely different from the others. You get Rydal Water, beautiful scenery and a cave you can actually walk into.

🏞️ Walla Crag Circular — 3.4 mi | 990 ft gain
A great option near Keswick with beautiful views over Derwentwater without committing to an all-day hike.

🌅 Cat Bells — 4.4 mi | 1,272 ft gain
We timed this one for sunset, and WOW. If the weather cooperates, this would be our pick for golden hour.

🥾 Loughrigg Fell Circular — 7.6 mi | 1,466 ft gain
Two different locals recommended this hike to us, so we figured we should listen. They were right. One we’d absolutely do again.

⛰️ Wansfell — 8.9 mi | 1,906 ft gain
Our biggest hiking day of the trip. If you want to spend a good chunk of your day on the trail, this is the one.

One thing we learned after two weeks here: you don’t need to find the “best” Lake District hike. Pick the hike that fits the kind of day you want—and the weather you’re given. ☁️🌤️
