RAZAKAR - Official Trailer Presenting you not just my directorial debut but a passion project close to my heart. 🍁✨ Set in 1968, RAZAKAR unravels the quiet tensions of Bengal before the Partition when identities blurred, voices trembled, and the stage became a battlefield. At its center: an ambitious Bengali actor striving to prove himself, clashing with a perfectionist West Pakistani director. Their struggle for creative control mirrors the larger conflict of power, belonging, and the cost of silence in a nation on the edge. "The City of Lost Temples" 🍁✨ has now been officially selected in its 9th film festival @ivs_filmfestival and the journey is still ongoing, with screenings in many more to come. Director, Editor, & Producer: @twonton Director of Photography: @kamalanbebagr Production & Co-Producer: @malikiverse007 Special Thanks to: Ameer Abbas Bhukhari Abu Huraira Minahil Awan Farrukh Javed Kamran Butt Mir Abdul Malik Hassan Imtiaz Chugtai Before I ever picked up a camera, I was just searching, trying to understand the culture and roots that make us who we are. Coming to Lahore only pulled me deeper into that journey. One small mid-term assignment turned into a chance to give forgotten walls a voice, and through film, let them speak again. To see that story connect with people at festivals has been the most humbling feeling. It’s a reminder that preserving our roots isn’t just about holding on, it’s about rediscovering them in new ways, again and again. 🍁🌻✨ by @twonton
Blorfle – A word without any meaning, just like how society often values appearance and dialect over actual knowledge. This 1-minute experimental short film explores how judgment, conformity, and post-colonial thinking shape our perception of art and speech. Told entirely in gibberish, it highlights how it’s not what you say but how you say it that matters. Are we really free to express ourselves, or are we just playing along to fit in? Basically, ever tried to sound smart but got ignored because you didn’t “look the part”? Yeah, same.
