Being men often results in getting consumed by our natural needs, like when we neeed it 🥵our wives hear it. But we overlook what’s our spirit and soul needs. So how do we avoid waiting for crises before we address our spiritual dehydration or malnutrition?

Men of God and all men need devotion, to build discipline, dominate your appetites and not be a slave to your body.

Make the decision now while you have options…
Don’t wait until it’s your only option.

Crises will come, it’s not if, but when - but will your spirit be ready? Or will your flesh and humanity respond for you?

This scripture at first glance appears that the instructions to not do anything, but to be idle, inactive or to be unproductive, but not at all.

This is an instruction and a directive to have stillness in your spirit that comes from patience and trust and Gods word. An understanding there’s little that you ultimately can do to decide what is the RESULT of your obedience.

We trust our work, or drive and ambition so when we act we are confident in what is likely the results of our actions. The reason obedience truly takes FAITH is because you now let go of being responsible for the RESULT of your action God lead you into.

It may sound scary but at the same time comforting because ultimately God wants your obedience even when it feels like a sacrifice of self. That’s when you know you’re pursuing His will, not your own.

It’s How we reach burn out, and turn to private battles like addiction, infidelity, drinking, gambling and more. What would happen if highly successful men and men in verbal had a healthy circle to grow in and offload the gravity of Responsibility?
