Cole Pitchford is a chef and caterer who specializes in using local ingredients, most of which are grown in his hometown of Riverside, CA, where his business, Two Trees Kitchen LLC, is based. Cole returned to Riverside in 2025 after 12 years in San Diego, where he cooked in some of the city’s top kitchens, including Herb & Wood under Brian Malarkey, and at Seneca Trattoria, part of Consortium Holdings. Two Trees Kitchen LLC is a Riverside-based catering company that focuses on creating unique dining experiences that emphasize local ingredients, purchased when possible within the city limits. Two Trees Kitchen takes its name from the two hybrid Washington navel orange trees that one of Riverside’s early settlers, Eliza Tibbets, planted her in Riverside garden in 1873.
