✨🩷What an incredible first day of Summer School for our Senior Dancers 🩷✨Today we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the amazing @gracewalker_choreography who delivered two outstanding masterclasses in Jazz and Lyrical Contemporary for our senior students. It was so inspiring to watch our dancers step out of their comfort zones, push themselves, and work with such dedication and passion alongside an incredible industry professional.We couldn’t be prouder of the hard work, focus, and determination they showed throughout the day.Honestly, I could have made a 4-hour reel from all the amazing footage we captured, but here’s just a little glimpse of everything we got up to today. A huge well done to every single dancer-you’ve all been absolutely fantastic, and this is only the beginning! ✨ What a way to kick off our Summer School! ☀️🩷Our Junior Dancers absolutely smashed TWO incredible workshops today with the amazing @gracewalker_choreography 🤩We started the day with a full Jazz Tech class, focusing on legs, leaps and turns, before learning the most wonderful Musical Theatre jazz choreography. We then finished with a beautiful lyrical routine that challenged and inspired everyone. 💫The energy, hard work and positivity in the studio today has been incredible, and this is only the beginning! ✨ SUMMER SCHOOL GUEST FACULTY ANNOUNCEMENT ✨We are beyond excited to welcome @tayloryates_ to our studio for this year’s Summer School🩷🖤🤍🤩Taylor will be working with our dancers on Thursday and Friday, and we can’t wait to see what they create together. It’s going to be an incredible couple of days filled with inspiration, creativity and hard work. Please see Taylor’s bio: Taylor YatesCreative Director, Choreographer and EducatorTaylor Yates is a professional dancer, choreographer and educator from South East London. He trained at Addict Dance Academy before building a career spanning commercial performance, choreography and dance education.As a performer, Taylor has worked with artists including Rita Ora, Cheryl, Tulisa, Take That, with television and live credits including ITV, The BRIT Awards, Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor.As a choreographer, Taylor creates work for stage, screen and live events. His commissions include productions for the top colleges and universities across the UK. His work has also been staged internationally, including shows created with Sea Cruise UK.Alongside his performing and creative work, Taylor is a passionate educator. He has taught at some of the UK’s leading studios and training institutions, including Pineapple Dance Studios, Manor LDN, Performers College, Urdang, LMA, Bodywork Performing Arts and D&B Academy. Taylor’s workshops bring the professional industry into the studio. Sessions combine commercial technique and performance skills with honest insight into life as a working dancer, giving students a real picture of what the industry asks of them. His aim in every room is simple. What a way to wrap up an incredible academic year at TWPA🩷🖤🤍✨Looking back at these photos from our final classes of the year and our amazing showcase fills me with so much pride. Every single dancer has worked incredibly hard this year, and watching their confidence, talent, and passion continue to grow has been such a privilege.But what makes TWPA so special isn’t just the dancing. It’s the kindness, encouragement, friendship, and love our dancers show one another every single week. They celebrate each other’s successes, lift each other up, and create the most wonderful community. Our Junior Jazz dancers absolutely brought the house down at the @cyd_uk Norwich Regional Event 🌟🎷✨We loved watching our incredible team take to the stage and perform this iconic Elton John inspired routine with so much energy, confidence and passion 🩷🖤🤍🎹Every single dancer gave it their all and we couldn’t be prouder of what they achieved out there. What an unforgettable experience ✨Yesterday our senior dancers took to the main stage at @moveitshow at London Excel, competing in the very first Move It Championships — and wow, what an incredible opportunity it was 🤍They performed with such beauty, elegance and unity, coming together effortlessly as a team. Their professionalism shone through every moment, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they’ve achieved to reach this level.Even more amazing — this piece was created in just THREE evening lessons… truly a testament to their dedication, focus and talent.
