Are we crazy? Maybe😅, but it’s been such a good adventure and he is crushing it. One month in Les Gets, France and one in Finale Ligure, Italy. Nicole, I still can’t believe it’s true. I thought we had more time. More time to laugh. More time to hug. More time to be part of each other’s lives.

So many of my favorite memories from college through adulthood are with you. My first home after grad school was the apartment above you and Joey’s garage. I can’t count the number of times we laughed until we cried in your living room.

I know a lot of time had passed between then and now. I don’t think you will ever know what it meant to me that you fought for our friendship. You made sure I knew I was welcome and loved. That is just who you are. You are the most loving, loyal person I have ever known.

Watching your love for Joey, for the kids, for your family, your friends, and for life was truly inspiring. I promise to try every day to love a little more like Nicole and to fight for a world with more love.

I hope you know how much I love you. I wish I had said it more. You mean the world to me. I will miss you forever, my sweet, sweet friend. by @tx.bret
