Not from a small town, but definitely relate to the "poet and a heathen" line my friend ... And definitely about to lose my mind!!

But God is still in control. So enjoy, until the day He says enough.

So glad this song is finally out. One of my favorites as a chronic over thinker! by @txbackroads

Already hit with the withdrawals of banging with the homies this week, and of course the epic music that dropped too.

Cheers peeps to another week. Hitting Lubbock again this weekend coming with Pat Green and friends, Bart Crow, and some more epic tunes to jam to.

Playlist update this week. taken in The Blue Light Live by @txbackroads

"I never left your diamond eyes.. I was yours and you were mine. 15 years and how it flies. I'm not the boy fighting for the 4th and 2; you don't love me like you used to."

When Ty Smith and John Teague get together you know there's gonna be a dang good tune come out that write. And add Levi Walker and Henry Williams (aka Henry Contreras) and you get Used To. Good grief this one is another banger dudes. by @txbackroads

It sure is a beautiful thing... A friend calls it romanticizing the ordinary...

But when the ordinary makes you extraordinarily happy, it's a marvelous thing. Enjoy it. And don't let others put you down for experiencing it. by @txbackroads

Mine for You Playlist has gotten a refresh.

As usual we are highlighting Texas but have some Nashville sounds included. Sadly I did keep the list to around an hour but we have so many we have honorable mention to share throughout the week.

Share with your friends. by @txbackroads

When the song hits just right and the 5000 fans hit every word!!!

Good times at the Cooks again for the Charles Wesley Godwin/Dylan Gossett show. Max Alan showing the folks of Texas his storytelling and the folks of TX singing right along. What a great night. by @txbackroads
