Kimmie Rhodes through the years...

In 1970, Kimmie moves to a family farm in Sunset, Texas. She studies guitar, music theory, poetic devices, writes her first songs & makes her first appearances as a songwriter in area bars and restaurants.

From 1982 – 1984, Kimmie continues to promote her own LP and band, releasing two singles from the Jackalope records.

In 1996, West Texas Heaven is released, and she tours Europe with Willie Nelson.

In 2003, “Picture In A Frame” duets CD, is released by Kimmie Rhodes & Willie Nelson on Sunbird Label.

Many years later, with many songs released and shows performed, Kimmie is being inducted into our 2027 Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame! Congratulations, Kimmie, on all of your success! by @txhsa
