Sooo… I got an Emmy Award! Last year, my company (Charter) received a Technology & Engineering Emmy® Award for “Development and Pioneering Deployment of Synchronized Local DMA Advertising Capability for DBS MVPD's”. That is a fancy way of saying we can air market specific advertising on a nationally distributed satellite signal. This technology allows our advertisers to have complete reach in a market.

It is a HUGE and rare honor to be recognized by my company as an “individual innovator” with this iconic award. It is the real deal too – it arrived in a large box cradled inside on a silk lined, form fitted bed. It is big and heavy, has my name is on it, and has disclaimers on the bottom of the statue. One states, if I or my heir/successor wishes to sell or dispose of the Emmy statuette, such persons are obligated to return the statuette to the Academy. In other words, it belongs to the academy and they are letting me use it in the meantime. They don’t stamp that disclaimer on the awards you buy in the gift shop! Lol

And yes… moving forward, you may now refer to me as Emmy Winner, Mark Littleton. by @txnlas14

This past weekend was also the never-ending story of Marks:
1) I met Mark at the Deuce on Thursday night
2) Friday night I saw Mark again at #NumbersNightclub
3) Friday night I met a another Mark upstairs at Numbers who was rocking it at 70!
4) Saturday night I met Mark from Ohio who was in town for the TKK concert

Saturday night at #NumbersNightclub for #MyLifeWithTheThrillKillKult

Great show! And great story: I was downstairs at my B&B having wine and chatting with Tommie on the staff and a couple guests when another guest came down and was also on his way to the TKK show at Numbers. He had just flown in from Ohio for this show after seeing them recently in Michigan and having only gotten into the band last year! So I was excited to go to the club with him, show him around, introduce him to a few people, and share the history. He said he would have had a great time but learning about the club made the night really special. I enjoyed that part of the night as well! taken in Numbers Nightclub by @txnlas14

In Houston this past Friday to support my friend Steve selling his 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6 at the #Mecum auction. He was understandably anxious that morning but was very relieved when it sold! taken in NRG Center by @txnlas14

Quick Houston visit this weekend to support my friend Steve auctioning his 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6 at the #Mecum auction.

This night before his car was scheduled to cross the auction block, we had a consultation to brainstorm auction strategies. During our meeting, one of the locals joined us to offer his expertise. Funny story, we are Mark and Steve and his name was Mark Stevens. Huzzah! taken in The Deuce by @txnlas14
