I've convinced Austen to celebrate his birthday all month like how I do mine so he's been on a life buzz (and still getting presents 😅😘)

And I've been jobless due to my contract ending, enjoying my days off (and the present moment so soz social media!📴) doing some soul lovin and recharging until I get back in that work grind💰

Winter season down on the Southern side! ❄️🌏

This week we went on our first winter wonderland roadtrip to celebrate Austen's birthday, 4th July and to celebrate this precious life of ours in general. Like can you guys believe it's somehow halfway of 2020 already?! 😐

Who else believes that energy flows where attention goes?✨

We're hoping that because most of the world's attention is geared towards change for the greater good right now that everyone gets to manifest their visions of living in a more loving, humane, and peaceful world 🙏🌎

As firm believers of the power of our thoughts, our words, our actions, and as firm believers that the Universe ALWAYS has our backs in the end, we believe we can all attract a better world if we keep on striving for it guys! 🙏

We still can't believe we lived in it for our first 9 months in New Zealand guys! It was honestly the highlight of our travels so far and we're so excited for the time we get to live this lifestyle again! 🤙

4 years ago today, we left our comfort zones for the great unknown...🌏

And it was the best effin thing we ever did! ❤️
.
It was a pretty tough decision for us to make to leave everything behind 😢
.
But here we are still living our dreams 4 years later so no regretssss 🤸‍♂️🤸‍♀️

It's also our IG's anniversary today and we just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone whose supported and shown us some love this past year! It's been a pleasure being a part of this beautiful travel fam 🥰

Running out of lockdown into freedom like... 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Last week in New Zealand, some non essential businesses opened up, Austen went back to work and we've finally been able to have a couple of people over in our new place! We're hoping that we're able to go down to alert level 2 next week as well and continue to keep destroying these quarantine chains 🙌

We hope everyone's keeping their spirits up high during these unsettling times and know that like with everything else, this too shall pass! ⛅

The only thing we can do at this point is to float on with the change and to make sure that we're coming out of this a better version of ourselves than we were before. Every experience is either a blessing or a lesson anyways, so let's just see what good things we get out of this one at the end guys! ❤️

👩‍❤️‍👨 Life update on our end 👩‍❤️‍👨
.
-Today is week 3 of lockdown here in New Zealand 🚫
- Thankfully I've been able to work from home and Austen is still getting income despite of being temporarily laid off 🙏
-Thankfully we were able to move out of our studio to a much bigger place🏡
-Thankfully we're living in the coolest little capital of the world where our local walks consists of trails along lush hills and beautiful bays 🌊
- And thankfully, we're used to being with each other 24/7 going with whatever flow life presents to us so we're happy to ride this wave together as long as needed 💗
.
How about you guys, what good things are going on in your lives right now despite all this craziness?!

Backpacker ➡️ Expat Life 🏡

It’s been quite a transition calming our itchy feet down! 👣
.
We mentioned before that since taking off from Texas we’ve been living out of our backpacks working a couple months here, travelling there, and how we’re now staying in New Zealand for a couple of years to hussle our asses off for our next big adventure 🗺️
.
It was a bit uncomfortable for us in the beginning to stay put in one place, but we have so much love for this country that building our new chapter out here has been a breeze 💖 Plus people are pretty welcoming and the work/life balance has been dope af👌
.
Anyone else currently living that expat life?! 🌞

If you need a refreshing dip after exploring around Kuala Lumpur... 🇲🇾
.
(We thought you would 🌞)
.
Then this waterfall park by the city is the perfect place for it! 💦
.
There's around 7 waterfalls at different levels which makes for such a fun jungle trekking experience, and there's tons of monkeys around as well to keep you on your toes! 🐵
.
Speaking of beautiful Malaysia, is anyone else missing the food there?😩😋
