Akira and a manga Created by Katsuhiro Otomo in the 1980s in 1982, and which received an anime-style film in 1988, portrays a post-apocalyptic future in Tokyo. On one of those nights, the gang led by Shotaro Kaneda in comfort suffers an unexplained accident. Tetsuo Shima, the youngest of the group, Kaneda's best friend, even shocked and hit the blue-skinned, wrinkled child with a strange physiognomy. The child uses telekinetic powers and explodes Tetsuo's motorcycle, while trying to rescue his friend Kaneda and the others in his group find the army by capturing that child and taking Tetsuo. From there he undergoes some experiments where scientists discover that Tetsuo has the potential to awaken telekinetic powers as powerful as akira. Akira is considered as a kind of entity of supernatural powers.
