never thought i’d have the chance to stand at the top of North America and one of the seven summits, but here we are! it was an incredible experience spending two weeks in the beautiful Alaska Range slowly working our way up. despite poor weather at the start, we were gifted with all-time summit conditions and one of the most amazing views i’ve ever experienced by @ty_howee

Meet Tyler Howe, one of our Winter Comp Team coaches!

Tyler grew up climbing Washington’s volcanoes before moving to Boulder for school, discovering The Coop, and falling in love with drytooling.

For Tyler, much of climbing is a puzzle—and watching people work through problems and grow is one of his favorite parts of coaching. His approach aims to give climbers room to experiment, problem-solve through cruxes, and learn how to train effectively—with skills they can keep applying long after the season ends.

He’s coaching alongside Nat Eichner on Tuesdays from 8–10 p.m.

The final stop of this year’s World Cup tour took place in downtown Edmonton, AB, and boy was it fun. The routes were awesome, the atmosphere was exciting, and it was great getting to show this sport off to so many new folks. Great work to all the athletes, to @keenan_panda for a 🥈, and especially to the (now more filled out!) Canadian team for showing up and killing it! taken in Edmonton, Alberta by @ty_howee
