This weekend @shabogle and I got to go on a Seattle date. It was so awesome. There was so much green and all the flowers were showing off. We packed so much into two days. Thank you @blainepannell and @emmavidmar for hosting us and being our tour guides. We had a blast. by @tyboges

I finally got to watch this incredible film. We got to see women of all age and abilities doing incredible things. Stories of overcoming gender stereotypes, supporting and inspiring women, doing what you love despite limitations, and finding an accepting community.

Watching it was awesome, but my favorite thing was discussion we got to have with our kids afterwards. They told us everything they loved about it and got to ask all the questions they had. We talked about the strengths and skills of these women. We talked about the difficult things they have and continue to work through. We talked about being inclusive to those around you that look different and have had different life experiences. We talked about the adaptiveness and strength of the women with disabilities.

I hope the women behind @advice4girls_film know that their message is coming through loud and clear and that they are inspiring the younger generation to be brave, kind, helpful, and powerful.

Move south to be safe.

Don’t stop moving south or we will assume you are a terrorist. -Israel

Over 1 million Palestinians are displaced and sheltering in Rafah. The southern most tip of Gaza.
There are now 1.5 million Palestinians in Rafah, about 25 sq miles. An area that Israel had declared a “safe zone”.

Israel launches air strikes on homes and mosques in Rafah, killing around 100.

Now Israel is telling the Palestinians to evacuate Rafah. Where are they supposed to go? North, where the IDF has bombed and bulldozed the infrastructure? South to Egypt, and possibly never be able to return?

Why would Israel want to push the Palestinians into a small area then bomb that area🤔?

Telling people you are going to bomb them in the future is not a warning, it’s a threat. by @tyboges

Cal had an awesome soccer season. He is goal scorer and a defensive wall. He leaves everything on the pitch. He learned a lot this season, like spacing and shielding the ball with his body. You rock Cal Pal. by @tyboges

I have been sorting through the emotions I’ve had in response to the shooting at Club Q. Fear, anger, sorrow, guilt. Guilt has hit me the hardest. For most of my life, I have been a member of an organization that perpetuates the the dehumanization of queer people. Over the last couple years, I have been separating myself from that organization, but can’t help reflecting on the negative impact my words, thoughts, and actions had on queer individuals around me and the entire community.
My family is the most important thing in my life. I hate the idea that my kids could face emotional and physical harm based on who they love. I can’t imagine the pain and grief of the Club Q victims and their families. I cannot return these people to their loved ones. I can stop the pattern of perpetuating hate. I can teach my children to see everyone as full humans, who deserve love and respect.
I plead for everyone who has the belief that queer people are sinning or an abomination to KEEP IT TO YOURSELF. Please listen to the queer community. Listen to the violence they face based on religious beliefs. by @tyboges

Drove to this shop on my lunch break to sign a petition to put reproductive freedom on the ballot this November. I did it for my wife, my daughters, and every individual that has fewer reproductive rights today than they did a week ago. They need all the in-person signatures turned in by 7/7. There are places all over collecting signatures. Go to Az reproductive freedom.com. by @tyboges

Being on vacation didn’t stop us from demonstrating our support for women’s reproductive rights. Had a some good questions and conversations with the kids about all the signs.
