Dude I don’t know what to say… I just spoke to you in the hospital last week. Thank god you answered at 1am (but that was normal for our convos). You said it looked bad but you had hope. I had no clue that would be the last time I’d talk to you… man in a weird way I am so grateful that I got that, though. I got to tell you “love you buddy!” one more time.

Man. I am gonna miss our insanely long phone calls. And your stupid voicemails hahaha.

I never really got the chance to tell you how much you and your work means to me. How doing Spring Awakening at 19 years old basically taught me how to be an actor. And I got to do TWO of your shows 15 years apart. What the heck.

I guess that’s all I have to say. I just am really gonna miss my friend. Duncan was a musical genius, but he was also just a cool, funky, hilarious dude. And we’ve lost him. My heart goes out to everyone who knew him. 💜 by @tyce

RIP Tim Curry. You taught 16 year old me it was cool to put on a wig and fishnets and strut around in heels 🤘👠💪

The Hunchback of Notre Dame. We took a huge swing on a conceptual version… from the start I knew I wanted it to be “not your grandmother’s Hunchback.” The expanded orchestra on stage and an incredible ensemble of players all telling this magnificent musical masterpiece in a way that was both simplified and yet maximalist in many ways too. How can a 21-piece orchestra and 30-person choir not be MAX!? But yet we laser focused on making the intimate moments so intimate and so human. And all of us as “players” shapeshifting into delivering this tale to the audience. There’s no better process than one where everyone is so deeply invested in truthful storytelling, and we truly had the best cast. What’s even more lucky and magical is that it was a cast of kind, caring, funny, hard working people, every single one of them… because when you can trust each other AND make fun of each other AND discover together AND work toward a common goal, anything is possible, and that’s how beautiful art is made. I’ve never been so proud of a show in my life. 💜🔔✨ by @tyce

I had the best time on @houstonlifetv and got to talk about our conceptual version of Hunchback and why we opted for no hump and the stained glass on Quasi’s back. So proud of our production and our team. 💜🔔 taken in Houston, Texas by @tyce
