POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

There’s something exciting and mysterious about discovering new ways of presenting songs that I’ve been playing for a while. Here’s a moment in rehearsal where I discovered a new path for the intro to “The User” with my mighty band. As the great American music producer Rick Rubin writes, “The more you practice your work, the better it will be. Practice opens channels of possibility.”

Thank you for staying tuned in, you’re a real one. ❤️‍🔥

When was the last time you enjoyed a good laugh at yourself? Tell me what you laughed at in the comments. In the meantime, I’ll tell you about a good laugh I had recently…
•
Recently I enjoyed a good laugh at myself when I realized how I used to hold myself back from sharing these beautiful little glimpses into my life with you. Why? Because back then, if every nuance of my performance wasn’t spot on to me, I used to fear receiving harsh judgement or criticism from people, many of whom I don’t even know and will never meet! 🤣 How absurd, considering the positive power that sharing imperfect moments has.
•
So cheers to you, to laughing at ourselves more, and to celebrating & sharing our stories (imperfect as we all are)! After all I once heard a wise man say, “It is our stories that have the power to bring us together and to heal us.” ❤️‍🔥
•
Cheers to my brilliant band:
@the_norf_pole on 🎸
@sam_bellavance on bass 🎸
@colin.christenson on 🪘

Congratulations to Ty for his music video booking. It is not his own music video, but it does use both his acting and music background skills so extra credit on this one!!
