Only I could run the wrong way with 400m to go. Made up with my watch time tho new PB.

Gran Canaria Marathon

November 19th 2023

This was my toughest marathon yet taking me 4 hours and 19 minutes to complete. I made a few mistakes with my clothing and trainer choice underestimating the hot weather conditions that peaked at 29 degrees. From mile 16 i was forced into having to run slights quicker than walking pace due to the situation with my trainer and sock selection. The last 10 mile felt like forever but got over the line to collect my medal 🏅
