What are you willing to sacrifice? Not for the sake of the collective, but for the soul? It is easy to drain yourself for others while leaving personal peace and purpose on the back burner.
As time passes, the realization sinks in. Individuality isn't a luxury, it’s a necessity. You cannot save everyone. Attempting to derail the natural course of one's demise is mentally draining. Most people will happily let you play the sacrificial lamb as long as the feast benefits them.
