Got to jump in at the stampede with @thedeltasweet on Friday opening for @chadbrownlee and it was the best.
Old friends, new friends, and one of the most fun stages I’ve gotten to be on. Stampede crowds rule. 10/10
Your boy is tall, happy, and would like to not work tomorrow but that’s neither here nor there. People want houses and he likes that. He probably needs a haircut. Likes guitar. Yeah. :)

Holy smokes. We did it. From crazy bad inspections to crazy cash bidders to crazy lender requests, these guys were put THROUGH it!! The market was not kind. But they didn’t give up and were always willing to try again and here we are. Finally. POSSESSION DAY!!
They fought hard, and this week I handed them the keys to their new home. And I’m so friggin happy.
Congrats R & C. You’re legends.

Life lately (a year later) life is too fun for me to remember to document it all but I’m trying!

1. Joined @thegoodguysab @goodrealestateyeg and I’m STOKED. Learning like crazy and already have more weird/funny real estate stories than I should.

2. @robincdorsch had endometriosis surgery 6 weeks ago and was an absolute champ and went back to work today. I’m stupid proud

3. Finalized a deal WHILE MY WIFE WAS IN SURGERY and have no pictures cause bc why would I.

4. Listed a condo with crazy views (hit me up it’s super cool)

5. Cats (duh)

6. Bass pedals. took a music “break” but one gig don’t hurt and being on the road with the boys is always a laugh.

Lately //

1. Been jumping in on bass with @informantsmusic since the fall. It’s been sick and the hoodies are cool

2. My sister had her third baby and his name is Everett and he’s super cute and I love him

3. @j.blaak did a backflip hurt his knee so that was pretty cool and then funny

4. @christianvic found a big ass reese cup and i gained 6 lbs by taking 1 bite

5. Cats

6. I didn’t know this conference last weekend had gluten free food and I survived the first night on babybel cheese. It’s probably still in me by @tydorsch

5 years ago today I released an album. Afterward, I had big aspirations about this project launching a successful music career. However lack of energy, abundance of responsibility, and conflict of calling has put that on hold. I still love music. I still play music. I still make music. I don’t live off music, and for now that’s okay. Because if I look back at this album it’s the fruition of struggle. The product of my search to express myself in ways I understood. I love words, I love writing words, but writing without words became my only way to understand me. In a lot of ways it still is, though I’ve done less instrumentals since this album. Maybe I’ll write and release more one day. Idk.
Either way, this project meant and means a lot to me. It’s not perfect, there’s mistakes I only noticed after I released it. Since this album I’ve grown in my musical ability, producing ability, I’ve learned new instruments and actually understand the language of music a little better. But for who I was then and who I am now, I love this album. I hope all of you who have listened have felt at least something. Something familiar yet foreign, mundane yet extraordinary. Something like a first love. Something like a hope for hereafter. Something. Have another listen (it streams everywhere) and maybe it’ll speak again. It still does to me.
