03. LAST NiTE

i think there’s something so special about storytelling and music especially in hip-hop and the ability to put somebody in the space of a story or an environment sonically. that was really the goal of this track last night.

i feel like i haven’t had the chance to fully explore my storytelling capabilities lyrically and this was one of those moments where i really really really wanted to take advantage of how the song made me feel and everything.

02. ROLLING THUNDER

This song is really the core of this project and it really helped me come up with the concept and the idea and the feeling and the vibe overall. The whole project is inspired by this sense of urgency and this sense of angst that I’ve lived through and tried my best to conquer during my 20s of not knowing where I’m going and just trying to understand it and reflecting on my life. I think this reflection on my teen years during my 20s is really the core of what I’m growing through and going through. The response to the project as I said before has been amazing: learning to walk through the storm every day.

WHEN LIGHTNING STRIKES TWICE 6.5.2026

🎨 cover by @myrrhatekya

this project has been sitting with me for two years.

i made it in the span of a week back in august 2024. since then, i’ve just been living with it, growing with it, and figuring out how to bring it to life the right way.

it’s probably the most vulnerable thing i’ve ever made. it’s about bouncing back, going against the odds, and finding freedom in the middle of chaos.

thank you to everybody who helped bring this world together. the mixing, mastering, visuals, planning, art, design, content, all of it. i really appreciate you.

thx for all the support on the album 🤞⛈️ WLS2⚡️

it took so much for me to craft and create the world for this project and the response has been nothing short of amazing. i appreciate everybody who took time to listen to this piece of art that I’ve been trying to put out for the last two years.

i hope that you continue to grow with this project and learn about yourself as I continue along that journey with you. by @tyetown

06. LONE

i made this song after spending days studying “sad” by xxx tentacion and “xo tour life” by lil uzi vert. i was obsessed with the way the strings bounced in the background and how melodic the core of the songs were.

the actual subject matter of this song is literally a conversation i was having with one of my exes about potentially breaking up, what it will look like, and what it meant. just the realization on both ends that we should move on but not wanting to turned into this amazing song that i’m so proud of.
