I wanna say thank you to everyone who has been supporting the business. Thank you to everyone who grabbed a plate last weekend. Thank you to @james.young.photos for capturing these amazing plates and some bts.

At TYF BBQ we don’t mess around when it comes to the meats.

Last weekend we did Brisket and Pork Rib plates. They consisted of steamed white rice and chicken Pancit and either 3 rib bones or 1/3lb of brisket or a combo plate.

We gon do plates again. Follow the page and stay tuned!
We might do a pop up in the next few months!

Last weekend I entered my first bbq competition. It was the Blues, Brew’s and BBQ Festival in Fairfield, Ca. I competed with my friend / boss, under the name “Rib Ticklers”
The category for the competition were ribs and chicken. 6 pieces had to be turned in. Our turn in time for chicken was 12:30pm and ribs were to be turned in at 1pm. I learned a lot from this event and I hope to compete in more BBQ competitions.
Thank you to everyone who supports the bbq and the business. Everyone who said encouraging words and those who showed up to the event, I can’t thank you enough.
Shoutout to @james.young.photos for capturing the day

We placed 10th overall out of 14 other competitors
Our ribs placed 7th
Our chicken placed 10th

I wanna say thank you to @bettys_bbq for asking us to team up on making a few pastrami’s for Ruben sandos and loaded baked potatoes. This was a little pop up event at @blue_lagoon_brewing_co on St. Patrick’s day.
A big thank you to everyone who was able to grab a sandwich or a potato. Thank you to @james.young.photos for capturing a few moments of the night.

We trimmed 2 prime briskets and corned them for 10 days, rinsed them and threw pepper and coriander to develop a nice bark. Smoked them low and slow on an offset then hot held them till we were ready for service.
