Many people read 1 Corinthians 14 as though it is a blanket condemnation of Christian women, taking the passage at face value without considering its context.

This is why it’s so important to read the Bible within its historical and cultural setting. Understanding why something was addressed the way it was helps us distinguish between what was specific to a particular situation and what is meant to be a timeless prescription for the Church.

Context doesn’t weaken Scripture—it helps us interpret it faithfully.

What sparked me to say this was seeing some lady flaunt that she’s on her way to Afghan after being warned not to... now if she reaps what she sows—I don’t feel guilty. Why do we have to be obligated to carry that emotional burden?

However this message is applicable in many which ways as well.

Always feeling “bad” for someone’s continuous disobedient path of destruction is not meant for us to carry...its not an obligation and I would wish the body of Christ would normalize its okay to place emotional boundaries.

This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be extending grace because in our own ways God extends us grace. But discern where it becomes a boundary to your emotions and mental HEALTH!!!!

You have to be very careful with who you listen to. These “deep revelation” teaching is getting out of hand, and just because you hear the “ooo’s and the ahhh’s” don’t mean God is in it. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SELF PROCLAIMED PROPHETS! And no I am not hating, l am tending to the flock of God as a believer...this is not a good stewarding of Gods word!!!

This statement is so harmful because it brings unnescary guilt and shame to those who are innocent yet have a child that come out this way.

It’s not your call to deem something demonic when you don’t know the case scenario.

Instead of calling what that child has as demonic, let’s SPEAK LIFE. Let’s make sure that they have a measure of faith in knowing there is permanently healing!
They can receive that in JESUS MIGHTY NAME!

God’s jealousy isn’t insecurity. It’s love.

Before creation, God wasn’t lonely, lacking, or incomplete. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit existed in perfect love for all eternity.

So why does Scripture call Him a jealous God?

Because real love is protective. Real love refuses to share what rightfully belongs to it with counterfeit substitutes.

God’s jealousy flows from His holiness and His love. He knows that every idol, every false god, and every sin ultimately destroys the people He created.

A loving husband is jealous for his wife.
A loving father is jealous for his children.
And God is righteously jealous for our hearts.

His jealousy isn’t a flaw.
It’s the fierce love of a God who knows that apart from Him, we will never find life.

They “used to be Christian” yet that’s not Christianity….

Just because Jesus is mentioned doesn’t make it Christianity. Whatever Christ they follow is not the Christ established in the scriptures! It’s a Christ that they fit in their worldview of minimal heretical understanding.
