[PUBLICATION 001] GROWING PAINS — TYLER NORMAN

29ARCHIVE is proud to present our inaugural publication of GROWING PAINS by Sydney artist Tyler Norman.

A book of photographs created across New York and Sydney between 2016 – 2022, Growing Pains traces the euphoric and painful process of growing up; and all its distortion. The book follows Tyler’s inner world and experiences over a six year period, highlighting the constant and inescapable paradoxes of life. Intimacy vs isolation. Peace vs chaos. Self vs other. Through personal photographs and archival material, Growing pains documents youth culture at the edge of adolescence and adulthood; in all its grit and glory.

A meditation on friendship, identity, innocence, love and loss, Growing Pains is a true portrait of youth in all its beauty, brutality and contradiction.

An edition of 100, published by 29ARCHIVE. Releasing October 2, 2026.

20 copies are available to pre-order now exclusively at 29ARCHIVE.com - Shipping world wide. by @tyler.n
