I can check seeing Bob Dylan off my bucket list now... Cool to see all the old hippies and the young coming out to see the man who's 84 and still Freewheelin'

Thanks @thad_lalala for a great time man, definitely a once in a lifetime show. by @tyler.smith5505

Had a cocktail with my best friend, played chess with a colleague of Bobby Fischer's, went to sleep in a French château, woke up in a French château and went to a bookstore, learned how to Mambo in an Italian café, and went to see Raisin in the Sun... In other words it was a smahing success. by @tyler.smith5505

Autumn leaves are like the afterthought of Summer days, the colors of them taking the shape of memories and of every sunset on a beach ever seen and ever to be witnessed by a soul that God granted precious seconds to. I too am a leaf passing through the gutters and drains of these streets and telling of every sunset I've been graced to see and haven't seen just yet. (My journal, 11-1-25) by @tyler.smith5505

The stream swirls. The wind moans in
The pines. Gray rats scurry over
Broken tiles. What prince, long ago,
Built this palace, standing in
Ruins beside the cliffs? There are
Green ghost fires in the black rooms.
The shattered pavements are all
Washed away. Ten thousand organ
Pipes whistle and roar. The storm
Scatters the red autumn leaves.
His dancing girls are yellow dust.
Their painted cheeks have crumbled
Away. His gold chariots
And courtiers are gone. Only
A stone horse remains of his
Glory. I sit on the grass and
Start a poem, but the pathos of
It overcomes me. The future
Slips imperceptibly away.
Who can say what the years will bring?

…and for a second the earth felt small and the world fell silent, our words were few and there is no way in which one can describe a sight as reverent as this… just silence and the intimacy of that which cannot be named. and from this silence laps a spring of the earths song, delicately accompanying the tender lullaby of Mary’s sacred embrace… our mother… amen... by @tyler.smith5505
