So excited to finally share “What it felt like to be free” with you all!! I went to Japan with zero idea of a storyline, plot point, or really any preproduction whatsoever, I felt like whatever story was going to be told there, needed to be told without any preconceptions of how its supposed to go. The best stories are the ones that are real! I’m so excited to finally share this with you! I branched out and learned so many new things in order to bring this project to life. I learned how to animate, and ended up doing drawing the frames while sitting amoungst a ton of soccer fans in atlanta during the world cup! I took one of my favorite songs “The Times are a’changin” and made it my own, in addition to producing all other songs on the film except one (Rockman by Mk.gee because I probably listened to that song 200 times on the trip.) I learned a few new things in blender to help really bring more of the abract concepts to life! Really I just had a ton of fun. It was super grueling and took so many hours to make this, but I enjoyed every single moment! Every afternoon that i got to listen to these songs on repeat and being like dang thats sick. Rendering a Blender scene overnight and watching it back the next day and having it be exactly what i wanted! But this project was also one of the healthiest projects I’ve embarked on. I worked in public, around people and friends, instead of locking myself in my room, getting out there and living, because if this trip taught me anything, its that there is so much more to life than the thing you love the most, and that there is a healthy middle ground that honestly made creating so much more fun! so excited to share that my next film, "what it felt like to be free", will be releasing on Friday, August 14th, 2026!!
this film documented my trip to japan and the incredible lessons that traveling can teach! this project pushed me to grow as a creative into other mediums. Particularly in Blender, Procreate, and Logic Pro (i composed most of the score on this one)! This is my most ambitious film that I've gotten the opportunity to make and I hope that you enjoy it! taken in Tokyo, Japan by @tyler_sandt

these photos weren’t supposed to exist. I was in my hostel living area and some really cool Norwegian guy told me to go to this hole in the wall used camera store. I ended up finding a mint condition mechanical film camera from the 1960s. (Minolta SR-1). In a bucket of used cameras. I ended up shooting 4 rolls, over 100 exposures of film, using my phone as a light meter. The magic these photos hold is immense. Some of these photos were taken right before I met a new friend, when I decided to be spontaneous, when I decided to just go out there and live. Hope you enjoy these! Goodbye Yesterday - Live from The Living Room | this was such a fun project to make with some incredible people during my internship at Buckhead Church! I had never worked on such a big multicam piece before so this was such a fun learning experience from finding what gear we needed to rent, where to place the cameras, and how to pace the edit! I ended up getting to edit and color this project, I learned how to use the multicam editor feature in davinci resolve which really helped a lot! Thank you again to The Living Room for letting us do this, it was so much fun capturing this.

I’m so extremely grateful to share what I’ve been working on the past few months! This project is extra special to me because on top of all the visuals, I took on the challenge to create the song as well! Remixing @davidgilmour’s “Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Pts 1-5” Live in Pompeii, I started with the vocal stem and built from there what was used in the video! I’ve wanted to do this since high school so very excited to finally do it! My goal with this project was to learn and implement new software (Logic Pro and Blender) into my workflow. I also wanted to share some of the history of the storied venue we get to play in! I want to thank @gsu_football again for letting me shoot football games last semester. I also want to give a special thanks to @avasbraindump and @coraima__photographs for the opportunity to use some of their incredible black and white photos included in the first buildup sequence!
