Jim sure knew how to build a vehicle, went for a little drive up to the dragon and the parkway before the weather turns. by @tylerbthisway

Come celebrate my 10 year piercing anniversary today with us today! I started out here at 18 years old with one goal in mind and very few people in my corner. Over the past twelve years I’ve worked with some great people and built friendships with people from all over the world. My corner has grown, I’m constantly looking to improve within and outside of the studio. To the thousands of clients over the years who have allowed me to be apart of their piercing journeys thank you, you’ve given one of the most stubborn humans a career that’s brought me to places I didn’t think were possible. You get back what you put in and nothing has been more true. taken in Born This Way Body Arts by @tylerbthisway

We will definitely be planning another trip to Maui. The weather was fantastic outside of being a little hot in the middle of the day, but it very much reminded me of a tropical eastern Tennessee. taken in Maui by @tylerbthisway

Laura and I popped over to Charleston for a few days and I’m already trying to find a time to go back. Going into the trip the weather wasn’t looking ideal with the storm incoming but honestly it was great outside of Monday. We enjoyed downtown as much as possible with the conditions before they started closing roads down, visited a few museums, enjoyed a lot of great food (halls chophouse was the highlight). by @tylerbthisway

May 29th 2015 the day I finally reached the end of the tunnel, the first time I actually set a goal completed it. Nine years of being a piercer, 11 years with this studio and some of the closest people in my life even if some of them don’t work or even live in the same state anymore. I was eighteen years old when this journey began and a lot has changed over the years from why I originally got into the industry, our location, what’s popular, and even why some people get pierced. At the end of the day I’m thankful I had a supportive wife who literally would extreme coupon, and set up at a side of the rode flea market Saturday mornings before work so that we could support ourselves during my internship and apprenticeship. I’m glad to have had a mentor who saw a hint of potential and gave me an opportunity to prove myself. To all my clients over the years thank you for making this possible. taken in Born This Way Body Arts by @tylerbthisway
