On November 4th, 2024, Joel Lang hit the car driven by Britany Visage, the daughter of Kristy Kerst. When Britany and Kristy stepped out to check the damage, Joel Lang hit Kristy with his vehicle and dragged her 350 feet to her death.

For nine long months, Kristy’s family sat through court hearings, waiting for justice. But on June 20th, a Colorado Judge was forced to drop every single charge against Joel Lang.

Now, on August 1st, the man who killed Kristy walks free—with his driver’s license and not one consequence to face.

Kristy is gone forever. And yet, the man who took her life carries on like nothing happened.
