Lake of the Woods Musky! What a fun catch…if you count it a catch even though I didn’t touch it except when it jumped on my board! #lakeofthewoods #musky #fish #kuiu waterproof backpack

I used to find all kind of treasure diving here in college. Invasive zebra mussels have now covered the bottom, treasure, and structures. Still got a few cool shots though. Full dive is on my page if you want to check it out. #scuba #explore #invasivespecies taken in Bemidji, Minnesota by @tylerhovda

Ice scuba dive in Bemidji Minnesota. I had a few hours waiting for a hockey game and dove under the bridges downtown. It was one of my favorite dives spots in college. Invasive zebra mussels have covered everything, there’s a foot thick layer of shells around the railroad bridge poles half way thru the dive. I used to find piles of fish hooks, bikes, shopping carts, and other crazy treasures, but it’s changed a bit. #scuba #bemidji #explore #invasivespecies taken in Bemidji, Minnesota by @tylerhovda

I found a pure silver ring, a new Apple Watch and IPhone (that our useless), and found a cave under the waterfall. I had a metal detector to check the cave but in #glaciernationalpark they’re not allowed. #freediving #explore taken in Glacier National Park by @tylerhovda
