Since I was little, I dreamed of styling people. I wanted shop for them, make them look good, and most importantly, make them feel good. That passion for caring for people took me from studying nursing and psychology at @ncatsuaggies to fashion business at @fitnyc, interning with O Magazine and Downtown Magazine, and working for @macys.

But then life happened. Motherhood happened. And I lost pieces of myself along the way. But now, it’s full circle! I’ve had to go through a lot and it’s taken me a while to get here but it’s made me even more equipped to serve my clients. Backed by God and trained by @stylistjbolin. I’m putting all of my passions together; Caring and fighting for people and helping them reclaim their confidence through style!

I completed my first Mother’s Day event! Integrating fashion, luxury events all while giving back with intention and purpose.

Most likely to turn a vision into reality ✨
Had the opportunity to speak to members of RRBA Union 1 about autism awareness and how churches can better support autistic children, families, and caregivers. Excited for more speaking opportunities ahead 🥰

It’s crazy how all of this started with just a post. 🧡

Hats Off became a reflection of all 3 of my passions coming together all in one space: fashion, curating experiences, and now event decor 😉, and advocacy for special needs children and their caretakers.

My biggest takeaway from the night was that community is truly what’s needed most.

A space with no judgement. No over explaining. No constantly being on defense advocating for your child. Just understanding, shared experiences, resources, and having your nervous system at ease.

Hearing other moms’ and caretakers’ experiences during dinner encompasses everything that The Spectrum of change stands for: One day you feel lost, the next you know you got it, then the next your nervous system feels like it’s in fight or flight, but you look at your child and think to yourself that all of it was worth it and that you’ll never stop fighting for the best quality of life that they can have. It ends up being a beautiful journey. This one was for the mamas who are TRYING and DOING!

I want to say Thank you to everyone who was apart of helping me make this event everything that I visioned!

I’m honored to welcome Tamara Houston, LISW-CP, CGP from @renewallife_rlc to our The Hats Off Mother’s Day dinner for moms of special needs children. 💕

Tamara’s presence is important because moms of special needs children often spend so much time caring for everyone else that their own mental and emotional well-being gets pushed to the side.
