Incredibly blessed and grateful to be featured as one of the “Under the Radar” leaders in Dallas, the Sports Business Capital of the World, by @dceomagazine and @rbi_ben. This recognition is great however I want to give every ounce of credit to my team at @influxer because they are the real MVPs. My journey as a walk-on was pretty stereotypical, the small town kid about an hour away from Baylor. I lived the walk-on dream, played in front of college Gameday (twice), played in the Cotton Bowl, and was a Scout team hero. Will always cherish those days. by @tylerjjaynes

If I could give my younger self advice about getting recruited, I wouldn’t tell him to “wait his turn.”I’d tell him to put himself out there.Send the email. Follow up with the coach. Post the highlights. Show the work when nobody is watching. Build a name before someone gives you permission to have one.That mindset is a big reason I built Influxer.Because the athletes who win today aren’t always just the most talented — they’re the ones who learn how to market themselves, create opportunities, and stay visible in a world full of talent.Recruiting, NIL, business… it’s all connected.Don’t wait to be discovered.
