POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Reflecting on an incredible first appearance at the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The experience kicked off with the unforgettable Parade of Nations, followed by getting to practice on the iconic, undulating putting green at Pinehurst No. 2—such a unique and challenging introduction to Donald Ross design.

Over the 3-day championship, I put together a solid tournament test, finishing T90 out of 153 players with a total score of 17 over par (+5, +9, +3). Round 2 is a brutal test of grit. When fundamentals break down and mental discipline slips, Pinehurst quickly exposes every flaw. It was a tough, grinding day on the course. Round 3 was bouncing back with my best score of 3 days—despite extremely demanding pin placements—proved the value of mental toughness and sticking to a disciplined pre-shot routine.

Huge thank you to @u.s.kidsgolf and @talamoregolfresort for running a world-class event, my family for endless support on the road, my coaches for dialing in the mechanics, and everyone who made this an unforgettable week. Hope I could come back again next year!! taken in Pinehurst, North Carolina by @tylerladawongolf

Finished up at the 2026 Uswing Mojing! Playing against some of the hardest pin locations I’ve ever seen was a masterclass in precision. I’m happy to have held my own, shooting 79-76-79 and finishing T61 out of 122 competitors.
One for the highlight reel: three chip-ins in one round! This tournament taught me how to stay disciplined even when the course is fighting back. It wasn’t just about the golf; it was about the growth and the great friends I made along the way. Can’t wait to get back to work and gear up for the next one. 🌎🥰 taken in El Camino Country Club by @tylerladawongolf

Officially graduating from Shull Elementary @shullsharks on June 5th! 🎓 It’s been an incredible 6 years since Kindergarten, and I’m so honored to receive the President’s Award with a gold seal to wrap it up. From taking 2nd place on the math team to playing Samuel Adams in our 13 Colonies play, this last year has been the best one yet. I’ll never forget my time at Shull—thank you for everything! taken in Shull Elementary School by @tylerladawongolf

Solid finish for Tyler at the Player Tour Championship at Dad Miller Golf Course! 🏌️‍♂️ Dealing with a lengthy 5,290-yard setup (Par 69) for the Boys 9-11 division, he battled hard to finish T-4th at +4
The story of the day? The flatstick! 🎯 Putting absolutely saved the round and kept the momentum alive, highlighted by draining a massive 28-foot putt. Back to work, but love the grit! 🪵🔥

Balboa Park is no joke! 🎢Massive elevation changes, those lightning-fast greens and windy, this course is a mental marathon.

Tyler stayed patient after a slow start, climbing 10 spots on the final day to grab a Top 5 finish. Seeing that +2 on the card on the second day was the best way to end the weekend! (+13 36 holes 5,662 yards Par72)🏆📈

Always a pleasure playing an SDJGA(@sdjuniorgolf)event at the beautiful (and challenging!) Balboa Park Golf Course (@balboaparkgolf)

None of this is possible without the support of Coach @victorlegolf and Coach @yobikousagolf . Thank you for the coaching and the constant encouragement! 🤝⛳️

U.S. Kids Coachella Valley, Spring 2026 | Boys 11-12 Division
• Tahquitz Creek: Carded a 6-over to secure a solid 2nd place finish. 🥈
• Trilogy Golf Club: Kept it steady with a 3-over par, earning another 2nd place podium spot. 🥈
• Desert Falls Country Club: Hilly course ever. Fought through a tough hole where balls were falling in water twice in a row, but I kept my head in the game. Managed to finish 6-over and grind out the 1st place win! 🥇
Reflecting on a great season of learning how to bounce back from mistakes and competing on some beautiful, challenging tracks.

Thank you @tahquitzgolfresort @trilogygolfclublaquinta @desertfallscc @desertfallscountryclubofficial and @uskgcoachella for great events and support!! Thank you my coach @victorlegolf for the prep and the confidence you have instilled in me!!! I can’t wait to play again 🔥🏆

We are thrilled to celebrate @shullsharks ’ recent success, earning 1st place in 4th grade and 2nd place in 5th grade across the district. This achievement is a direct reflection of the mentorship provided by Mrs. Hsiung and Mrs. Montgomery also the support from our principal, Dr. Wilson. Tyler’s individual journey is equally commendable—having earned his spot through a competitive three-round selection process for two years running, he played a vital role in placing the team 2nd among eight elementary schools in the district. This is a well-deserved honor for everyone involved. taken in Lone Hill Middle School - Bonita Unified by @tylerladawongolf

Second time competing alone with 18 holes Approx. 6,000 yards and shooting 11 over was amazing and big improvement. I was better than last time at Pala Mesa GC by 8 strokes. Finishing in the top half of the field (20th out of 46) while playing up in age is a massive win. I wasn’t just competing; i was holding my own against kids with more physical strength and experience. ⭐️It’s an honor to compete against those who push you to be better. Thankful for the challenge and the chance to grow.😊
