Hey lovely people!

I'd love to tell you about my new promotions project @otr_promo. I am completely smitten with Brighton's music scene and its musicians, so this year I've decided to start giving back. Myself, @alexthevicar, and @daniel_langham_music will be hosting a variety of gigs around the city starting very soon, and we have a big announcement on Friday which I'm more than excited for. All I can say for now is everyone go and follow On The Rocks @otr_promo @otr_promo @otr_promo !! And tell ur friends!! :)

More exciting news as well - this year will be the return of my solo project as on March 20th I'll be supporting my good friend @christianlesurfmusic to celebrate his newest album release, alongside @collectcallll. I can't wait to be back at @thefolklorerooms. I'll be playing some unseen acoustic numbers; this is set to be an amazing show and I'm super thrilled to be a part of it!! Tickets are already moving so get in early ✌️

Hey guys :)

I'm over the moon to announce the return of my solo project, and what a way to come back - this Saturday I'll be playing @mumfestbrighton !! This is an amazing festival for an incredibly important cause and I'm honoured to be amongst some of my fav musicians ever

I'll be playing some nice intimate acoustics, some old stuff some new, under the bridge next to green door

I've taken my first 4 albums off of streaming. They were wonderful to make, and they'll still be on Soundcloud/Bandcamp, but I don't feel as though they hold up 5 years later - I hadn't really found my artistic voice quite yet. That being said, I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce the rest of my discography to the uninitiated who may be interested in the past sounds of my brain:

In September 2021 I released 'All Mine' (slide 2) - a very indulgent, reflective concept album that utilises various shades of acoustic and electronic songwriting. This album encapsulates the emotional turning point I had that summer, and I still listen to it today to remind myself of certain feelings that I often forget.

In April 2022 I wrote, recorded and produced an entire album as a one month project, released in May as 'Stride' (slide 3). It's for this reason that it feels especially honest. A lot of these tracks were written in strange places, some improvised, and together they showcase 10 different facets of what my personality was then.

Then in August I released my most comprehensive project 'In Lightning' (slide 4). With an intro, outro and 2 interludes, this 15 song electronic album does everything weird and wacky I could fit in 45 minutes. Distorted synths, crushed and warbled vocals, and a few ballads in between - this was the hardest I'd worked to make a well-produced, cohesive opus.

Finally, in January 2023 (shortly after moving to Brighton) I released 'Late Afternoon' (slide 5), a brief collection of relaxed, self-forgiving and entirely acoustic songs. 90% of this album was recorded on a one-take basis, notes are missed and melodies are improvised. It does nothing but attempt to capture the moment.
