A little life update & my annual photo of myself 🤣

This year has been pretty special for me and my photography journey. Photographing 22 weddings, several events, and portrait shoots is something I’m incredibly grateful for. It’s still crazy to think about the people and moments I’ve been part of, all because of a camera. I’ve met incredible people, worked with new creatives, made great friends, stepped out of my comfort zone, and ended up in rooms I never imagined being in.

There’s been a lot of learning and growing, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without the people who’ve supported me along the way.

A few people I want to shout out:

@jcastillomedia — Without John, I’d still be saying no to everything people asked me to shoot. 🤣 Not sure how you convinced me to shoot that first wedding two years ago, but I’m grateful you did. You took me under your wing and kept sending me dates, opening so many doors along the way. Grateful to call you a friend.

@andrewamedia — Thank you for the opportunities, support, and for answering all my questions. 🤣 “What would Andrew Allen do?” You’re a real one, man. I know I can count on you. Love seeing you grow—you deserve it.

@imagesbyjc — You’ve helped me with so many operational questions: quotes, pricing, contracts, and all the boring-but-important stuff. I know I drove you nuts. 🤣 Feels like I’ve known you forever, and every time we shoot together, I know it’s about to be litttttt.

@clydescamera — Thanks for putting up with my constant “what do you think of this?” messages whenever I edit or get ready to post. 🤣 Appreciate your honesty, encouragement, and editing help. We’ve never met in person, but we’ve had some real talks, and you’ve already got a friend in me.

@cj_ecot — We only met a few months ago, but clicked right away. Glad to have you in my corner for the laughs, jokes, and words of encouragement.

You guys make all of this easy, laid-back, and always a good time. Thank you for believing in me, helping me grow, and being part of the journey.

Still learning, still growing, and excited to see where this takes me. This is only the beginning. 💜
