I almost kept this story to myself.

I was afraid people would see my past differently than my present.

But I’ve realized my testimony was never meant to make me look good. It’s meant to show how good God is.

I don’t share this because I’ve figured life out. I share it because I know what it’s like to feel trapped, ashamed, and convinced nothing will ever change.

Jesus met me there.

If you’re carrying something in secret, you don’t have to anymore. Tell someone. Ask for help. Keep fighting. There is hope.

If this reaches one person who feels like I did five years ago, then sharing it was worth it.

All glory to God.

Special shout to everyone who has been there with me along the way! Specifically my wife for carrying me through and my pastors for believing in me before I ever believed in myself @joshwhitlow_ @crysmwhit by @tylerqtucker

Frames from family vacation @greatwolflodge

Brought my FX3 and a 16mm with me on vacation for one reason…I want to get better at documenting us.

I spend so much of my life with a camera in my hands, but somehow it can still be easy to forget to pick it up at home. I go through seasons where I document everything, and seasons where I barely capture anything at all.

But these are the moments I know I’ll want back someday. The little voices. The way they play. The way they look at their mom. The ordinary moments that probably won’t feel ordinary when they’re older.

So I’m making a commitment to be more intentional about pointing the camera at my own life. Not to make everything cinematic. Not for content. Just to remember it.

Really inspired by @tombakerfilmmaker and the way he documents his family and moments that matter.

Here’s to filming more of the life happening right in front of me. taken in Great Wolf Lodge by @tylerqtucker

Some moments can’t be manufactured.

Last night, we watched people respond to the presence of God in their own way. Some stood with lifted hands. Some knelt. Some wept. Some simply sat in the silence.

No one seemed to be in a rush. And that’s what made it so special.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We’re already looking forward to the next Worship Room.

I wasn’t in Peru, but for the past week, it felt like I was.

I spent hours listening to stories, watching footage, listening to voice memos, and asking questions about moments that changed people.

Somewhere along the way, this stopped feeling like an edit and started feeling like a responsibility.

I didn’t want to make another mission trip recap. I wanted to make something that let you experience the journey the way they did.

If this film makes you feel like you’ve spent eight days walking alongside our team, then I accomplished exactly what I set out to do.

Grateful to everyone who trusted me with their stories.

I can’t understate how amazing @knz_film is for the way he captured Peru. It is an honor to serve alongside you.

For the first time ever, Ridge and Rifle had a booth at the @hanovermarketcsa and honestly, we’re still smiling about it.

To everyone who stopped by, tried things on, asked questions, or just came over to say hey, thank you! From the bottom of our hearts. You showed up for us, and that means more than we can put into words.

A huge thank you to the Hanover Farmers Market for welcoming us into such a special community. Walking in as a vendor for the first time felt surreal and you made it feel like home.

And to our family and our kids, who ran straight for the playground and tractors, you reminded us exactly why we’re doing this…you are the whole reason. This has always been the dream: to build something we love, with the people we love, in a place we love.
