I don’t know how many more times I can keep doing these types of posts. 😫😭 I don’t even know how to put into words how much I’m going to miss my Nana. 💔😩😭 Out of so many memories I have with her, one of my favorites will always be all of us gathered around that old jukebox, listening to her oldies but goodies from back in the day. I can still see my Nana dancing, having her drink, enjoying her music and just living in the moment. Of course, I would get up and dance right along with her. 😂❤️ Those are the little moments that I would give anything to experience just one last time.

There is something that I will carry with me forever though, and that is the fact that my Nana was there to see me take my first breath when I came into this world and I was blessed to be there with her as she peacefully took her last. 😭🕊️ There is so much pain in that, but also so much love. I got to be there for her at the end of her journey just like she was there for me at the beginning of mine. 🥹

Nana, I love you so much. I miss you already in ways I can’t explain. 💔 But you’ve been away from Poppy for far too long and now you finally get to go be with my Poppy again. 🕊️❤️ Give Mama a kiss up there for me too 😘 Thinking about the three of you brings me some comfort because God knows I miss ALL of you so so very much 😭

…I’ve truthfully not been okay for a very long time, and losing my grandmothers in consecutive years has taken a toll on me that I’m still trying to understand. This kind of grief changes you. So right now, I’m just taking things one moment at a time and trying to hold onto all the love, the memories, the laughter, the music, and everything they left behind.

RAW, REAL, & UNEDITED EXPERIENCE AT @compton_everytable - Thank you for this and thank you to the person who decided to #PAYITFORWARD because now I get to eat and I am literally still crying because of this experience and act of kindness. You never realize how much a little can go a long way and leave a long lasting feeling. 🥲🫶🏽 What started out as a hard day filled with tears of frustration ended with tears of relief and joy and a smile and a satisfied tummy 😇 — I already love #Everytable because of the healthy food choices and portions and taste… but this really made me love them even more.
