Say hi to Gutso!!!

Jeffrey had the idea to create a mascot character for the @guts.atx comedy show so I helped him bring this whimsical guy to life with this insane paper mache head. This was my first time creating something like this and I'm so happy with how it turned out! Swipe through if ya wanna see how Gutso was built!

Happy 5th birthday, Gravy!!! Watching our sweet boy run around and enjoy life almost three years after becoming paralyzed is the joy of a lifetime that reminds us to be grateful every day. We sure do love this lil peanut butter boy!!! by @tymetolive

Happy 5th birthday to our sweet Banjo baby!!! After almost losing our little guy to an emergency health scare earlier this year, it means so much that we have been able to deliver him to his 5th loop around the sun. Today marks 12 years of dancing through life with my favorite person. 🥰

Most people who meet their forever person at 14 aren't as lucky to grow and change together for the better. I say luck, but really years of pouring unconditional love and encouragement into each other's cup has given us the most beautiful life and relationship. There have been plenty of times of being broke and feeling low over the years (even more than ever in the past year), but you never fail to make me feel seen and at home no matter the hardship.

You inspire me to love, to create, to grow, and to do hard things. You have shown me a type of love that exists in this world that has given me the courage to fervently wave a flag of love and compassion for all things in this world.

I look forward to living in precious moments with you and uniting against hardship with you for years to come. Thank you for everything. ❤️

Today is just over four months since Gravy's accident and it's also his gotcha week!!! 💖🦮 He has made great strides in learning to walk again despite having only been given a 10% chance of ever recovering from paralysis in May.

We are nearing the end of the second course of physical therapy with two sessions left that we will finish over the course of October. At that point his doctor will reevaluate his condition and recommend next steps. We are continuing to work with him everyday at home and have started taking longer daily walks and even jogging with him sometimes!

Gravy makes us so proud everyday. Watching a miracle unfold before our eyes has been such a healing and fulfilling experience. So thankful that not only is his physical condition improving, but his heart and spirit are as bright as ever! We continue to hope and work for even more progress but if this is as good as he will ever do, what a blessing. ❤️
