OH HE BLENDING HIS TRAX NOW 😮‍💨!?

Can’t tell ya how fucking fun this was to make, and is now certainly a direction I want to keep pushing my beats - I figured that over 8banks with 16pads each and a crossfader, surely I can live mix my shit!?

Some recent additions added to ‘Until Then’ - found me some warm and golden lady vocals with some equally warm synths to go underneath 🫰🏽

What am I smackin’ over this one then - male or female vocals? Slowed this one right down to really focus on the step. So much more to add to and it’s already got that big-room feel 🔊

Soggy sound Sundays 😂

Thought I’d flip one of my archive beats, ping in a diff vocal and smack some wet sounds through it from a new sample pack courtesy of my boi @samwise_hud. Having a lot of fun skrrting through and giving em a fiddle - one thing I’ve learned since starting is there is absolutely a time, place, size, context for ANY sound, nothing should ever be disregarded.

Pt.2.

Nice lil 32bar pre-chorus on a 124step, Chaka you are insaaaaane over house - inspired me some bigroom delays and Bowie style stabs. She recently brought an album out actually, trustttt me the lass has still got it - give it a spin it’s fire 🫰🏽

Sundays are for soulful chops and loud ass drum breaks 🧘🏻‍♂️

The two breaks work crazy on this one, particularly feelin’ the metalware within the groove - rides be riding nicely. Looking forward to smackin’ some poignant wall to wall bass under it and adding more vocals through it.

Blessed 🫰🏽

Birthday beats - steppin’ out the comfort zone with some MSX 98fm style vibrations iykyk 🥷🏼🔞

Shout out to Aretha as always, still breathing soul onto peoples tracks long after she’d gone - the epitome of legacy within music, what a woman.

Another year at my feet, thank you God for all I have, all that’s been and all that’s coming - and most of all, FOR THE MUSIC 🤲🏽

Track name “I Sparkle”, deffo one for the EP.

Janet ya voice sounds peng whatever the pitch 😮‍💨

One of three variations I got banked for my new track - still undecided which I wanna commit to. Soz for the clippage toward the end I couldn’t be arsed getting microscopic with the levs, not-soz for the shapes I was cuttin’ I was clearly feelin’ 🙂‍↕️🫰🏽

Been a while..

Lil subtler to shake off the cobwebs - finally finding pockets of time I can commit to the pads, fuck I’ve missed it.

Couldn’t help slappin’ a BD donk round it 🙂‍↕️🫰🏽
