WTF is diabetes deciding what your life looks like?For a long time, I thought diabetes meant giving things up. The sports I loved. The foods I enjoyed. Feeling “normal.”But 14 years with T1D has taught me something different, DIABETES DOESN’T GET TO MAKE THE RULES. I can wear my devices proudly, eat dessert, compete in sports, chase my goals, and live a life bigger than my diagnosis.And the best part? We don’t have to do this alone. The diabetes community is one of the strongest parts of this journey.
