Dutch and Flemish can be challenging languages to use to their full potential, but our fonts aren’t. Here are some easy-to-use stylistic sets, shown in literal translations that spectacularly miss the point of the original proverbs. by @typemytype

Summer has ended, the kids are back to school.

Back to our regular scheduled slaving away on updates of what you have seen; and things yet to be seen.

Following his talk at @typographicsnyc , talks with colleagues and friends gave Frederik a list for the possible future of Filter. He is chipping away at it.

But good things take time. You’ll know it when you see it.

!!! NEW RELEASE !!!

It only feels like 2 weeks ago since we last launched a new font …

… it was, but where FC Crimp excels in glyphs and functionality, FC Filter is quite the opposite.

FC Filter is a variable display typeface that has more masters than it has glyphs; 387 masters to be precise. Our first release from the mind of @typemytype is released through @futurefonts

FC Filter pushes the limits of variable fonts and how they are made. It is the culmination of Frederik’s obsession with mono linear fonts. It was produced through drawing and coding, but how exactly, will be showcased at a @typographicsnyc 2025 lecture at the end of this month.

Explore it now on our site and that of @futurefonts !
