Sometimes the repair tells the whole story. 🔧⚡️

We recently got this online-purchased LED message center back up and running after months of problems. What started as a failed power supply turned into some deeper troubleshooting — ultimately uncovering water intrusion, saturated electrical connections, a dead short, and even evidence of a small electrical fire inside the cabinet.

Here at the Jersey Shore, equipment needs to be built for a coastal environment. Wind-driven rain, salt air, moisture, and temperature swings can expose weaknesses pretty quickly.

Online LED signs can look like a great deal upfront, but cabinet construction, warranty coverage, technical support, and local service matter just as much as purchase price.

Before buying an LED display online, talk to your local sign company and compare your options. The difference in price may be smaller than you think — and the difference in long-term reliability can be significant.
