There is a fire lit inside of me that no man could put out, and I’m just getting started! I felt a strong tug on my heart to put something together for girls in my area to glorify Jesus Christ. I often find myself forgetting that it wasn’t the nails that kept Him on the cross, but his deep LOVE for us. Including you. Our community needs Jesus more than ever right now. This was a night filled with different girls of all ages, a Bible lesson put together to glorify the one who bore the cross. A breakdown and vulnerable talk, lots of snacks, and of course, our PJ’s! I am calling this Jesus and Jammies and I want this to only grow! I’ve got plenty of chairs and seats for EVERYONE! If you have been looking for a group of Godly girls, or maybe you’re just starting your walk with Jesus, now is the time to get involved! Please reach out to me if you are interested! Romans 12:10- ““Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”
The Lord has put on my heart to publicly honor how truly how amazing this hunk of mine is. Jude is selfless, gentle, and kind. He loves me not only with his speech, but his actions represent a multitude of love and truth. My nightstand is never empty with new flowers, not a single spot on my forehead hasn’t been kissed by him, I get surprise coffees at work, he still hasn’t given up trying to get my hair into a perfect ponytail, he gently corrects my behavior and leads me from a place of love, he is one of the hardest workers I know, he’s the only one who will do stunts from The Greatest Showman in my room with me, or wake up at 4 AM for these pictures. He draws me closer to Christ when I drift, he is my best friend in every way, and he loves me visibly with his entire heart. My heart overflows with love for him, and I can only begin to express my gratefulness for him. Thank you, Jesus, for sending me him.
