71 days ago, I graduated from Alabama A&M with my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, fully on scholarship. Today marks the first day of a new chapter in Houston, Texas as I begin my career. As my final grad post, I just want to reflect on how thankful I am for what A&M has given me. A space to grow. Friends who instantly became family. An education that taught me how to be resourceful, resilient, and confident in rooms I once prayed to enter. College did more than prepare me professionally, it transformed me personally. I thank God every day for the doors He has opened and for reminding me to walk through them as my full, authentic self, because I do belong there. This season stretched me, refined me, and built a foundation I will carry with me forever. And as I step into what’s next, I do so grounded, grateful, and certain that I am exactly where I’m meant to be. I miss y’all already.🥹🫶🏾 taken in Houston, Texas by @tyra.rav
