Closing soon: Tyra Tingleff’s (@tyratingleff) paintings still on view at Kunst rett vest at Dikemark in Asker, Norway, through 13 September 2026.

Alongside 32 artists, Tingleff presents a selection of new paintings in IN RAND AND IMAGE, curated by Vibeke Christensen & Tina Skedsmo.

Tingleff’s abstract paintings are built from layers of oil paint on raw canvas, creating shifting structures with multiple points of entry. Working intuitively with colour, material, and composition, she allows the physical process of painting to remain visible. Forms emerge, overlap, and dissolve, generating a sense of movement and instability across the canvas.

For the biennale, Tingleff’s paintings are integrated into an installation by artist Anders Holen (@holenanders ).

Saturday, 8 November 2025, 5-7pm
with @chertluedde_books

Join Marie Warsh of the Estate of Rosemary Mayer and Tyra Tingleff for a conversation and a fleeting appearance of one of Mayer's Ghost sculptures, on the occasion of Tingleff's finissage. Hosted within Tingleff’s exhibition, the temporary monument creates a dialogue between the two artists. Warsh and Tingleff will discuss Mayer's interest in impermanence and approaches to color, and how this resonates with Tingleff’s painterly gestures, highlighting a shared language of abstraction, temporality, and emotion.
