I want to take the time to thank the Maktown Flyers for giving me the opportunity to hoop at @thebal this season. We didn’t get the result that we wanted but definitely learned a lot.

During the BAL.. my family called me to tell me that my grandmother passed away. A feeling that I can’t describe. Extreme sadness because I just talked to her after my first game. She was so excited to watch me on TV back home.

It was tough for me to play after that. While I don’t understand it, I know that God only puts us through situations that we can handle. I am leaning on that thought process. Also want to thank management, coaches and my teammates for checking on me daily & coordinating me getting home immediately.

Alva Green was a special person! The legacy and impact that she has left behind will live on for generations. Always told me to follow my dreams, keep God first & always encouraged me to keep going. She believed in me. I am thankful to have had her in my life and she will forever be loved and missed by many. I know that she will continue to watch over our family. I love you Grandma 🫶🏾 by @tyrellcorbin2

A couple of weeks ago, I was blessed with the opportunity to come back to my high school and speak to the boys basketball team @westhighboysbasketball 🙏🏾

It was a dope experience! A lot of questions were asked and I hope I was able to shed light on a little bit of what it takes to play this game for a long time. A lot of WORK & SACRIFICE has to be put in on and off the court. All you have to do is believe.

I don’t really talk about my high school days much because so much time has passed but it really was a special time. This opportunity forced me to go back and watch some of my old games and relive moments that put us in the Utah history books forever..

Special shoutout to my guy @danewissenbach for documenting this experience! taken in Salt Lake City, Utah by @tyrellcorbin2
