It’s been a year of Happy Snaps out in the world!! The film has screened at around 40 film festivals, in many countries, to audiences from all over the world. We have a few more this year. Aesthetica and Margate in the UK 💙 It’s been so special seeing how people far and wide have connected with Gabriel and Sami’s story 💖 It was lovely also to see Osian win his first award for best male performance @filmotomy

It was incredible to get support from @bfinetwork for this project. A huge thank you to @aaliahsimpson for selecting us and nurturing us through. Also to our amazing Executive Producers @natasupernova @antoinearnault @helenetheodoly @gabytana @cheeriopublishing

Bye-bye @filmfestmunich! Today‘s the last day of this year’s festival, and first I‘d like to thank British director @tyroheath and Canadian director @_benjerz for your bright smile on this picture - and for your movies within the CineKindl program, sure.

📸 On the Isle of Sheppey, two boys try to enjoy a last day together. Their adventures are captured by Gabriel, who has cerebral palsy, on an old camera. But as the day goes on, fears about the future cloud their friendship.

See HAPPY SNAPS as part of our Drama Shorts Screening at 15:00 on Sunday May 18 at Omniplex Sunderland

Beautiful BTS by my friend the photographer @jo.broughton who was able to join us for our rehearsals on Sheppey. It rained most of the day but Osian and Adi were always upbeat!

Happy Snaps International premiere is in Sweden @buff_malmo this week, followed by our northern premiere @mcrfilmfestival on the weekend. Very excited for both!! by @tyroheath

Really enjoyed photographing Duyoung Kim’s graduate collection from Central Saint Martins last summer, all inspired by the bag her mum made her when she started primary school.
