Last night we sat down with our speakers for theShift + Ownership and we are still thinking about the conversation.

We talked about the journeys that led them to ownership. The life lessons. The family structures that shaped them. The experiences that no one puts in the highlight reel. And the responsibility that comes with building something — not just for yourself but for the community around you.

Next Wednesday is going to be something special. You do not want to miss this room.

We saved you a place. Grab your ticket.

The Mayor has spoken! Richmond, we are up for a WEBBY and we need you. Help us rally behind our documentary “Echoes of a Dream” and vote for us through the link in our bio. 🗳️

Let’s bring this @thewebbyawards home! 🏆

Echoes of a Dream tells the story of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy in Richmond and shines a light on a deeply important part of the city’s civil rights history. The film was selected as a Webby nominee and is now in the final five, going up against PBS, National Geographic, and Business Insider. 🎬 by @tyronejrx
